Epic published the game. All the money goes through them.
Quoting: dziadulewiczWhatever the case; Epig is not going to last with this business model (and attitude) of theirs much longer. As long as they have the cash cow that is Fortnite they will be around forever. They can burn through billions in other parts of their business. You don't follow the gaming market, do you?

Oh, that is good. Even if parents are clued up on the nefariousness of the practice, it's so widespread, the pressure to let their kid do it anyway so as not to be different from others must be very high.
Quoting: coolitic"Shouldn't need a calculator" as if the conversion ratio wasn't absolutely trivial.A new user, voicing support for the companies' point of view? Did you register only to do that?
And from that point alone, they stretch it out into buzz-words about "Companies manipulating children to spend money", as if having a (trivial) conversion step was the root of the issue.

Quoting: ZlopezI'm not sure why companies are taking growth for granted. Why they won't rather work with what they made the current year and expect that the next year will be the same or maybe save some of the money for bad times if you are making more than you expected, so you have some reserves. The stock market doesn’t work that way. It’s cool and useful or sometimes necessary, but it is also cancer.

Oh, that is lovely. I tried playing LiS2, but bounced right off it not far in. A return of the protagonist from the first one is very welcome.

This update makes me very happy. I can run Room Setup again and games actually launch now.
It still creates a black window every time VR is started which can't be killed and survives even killing Steam, but one can't have everything.
I'll be very glad to play Alyx again.

At least Call of Juarez is a game from 2007, I'd say the most you could count on back then were two cores.
