Quoting: gojulTried to get a refund, I've been owning this game since it appeared on Linux. Of course Steam rejects my request, which is understandable.Like Rust, Psyonix said they will refund regardless of play time and date of purchase. I had to try a couple of times to get my refund from Rust, had to link official blog posts and all, so as soon as Psyonix officially posts that they will refund all Linux/MacOS gamers, use that information to ask Steam for a refund. It should work (worked for me on Rust).

Steam Broadcasting would be really cool... finally being able to show friends that gaming on Linux is easy and awesome!
Psyonix have announced what is replacing Rocket League loot boxes and it sounds reasonable

I wanna be wrong, though.

Quoting: Liam DaweThey didn't say the inverse, too... the game becoming Epic Games exclusive, there's no guarantee anymore that they will keep supporting Linux next year, for example, because no Linux gamers will be able to buy the game anymore, so keeping it updated will be only a big waste of money from the developers.Quoting: pbWhat I'm more interested in is: will it stay playable through steam and on Linux.Yes. Why wouldn't it? They've said nothing about leaving Steam or Linux.
I wanna be wrong, though.
Easy Anti-Cheat is actually still supported for Linux, a statement from Epic Games

The mistake here (and hopefully lesson learned) was believing Garry in the first place... Epic Games are not saints, of course not (their scummy practices are hurting Linux gaming already), but Garry... this guy behaves like Linux is a nightmare, haunting his dreams, while he maybe didn't realize Linux is powering all his smart devices and the whole god damn internet. What an interesting and sad person.
Valve's card game Artifact seems to be dying off and fairly quickly too

If it becomes F2P I'll definitely try. Valve is very wealthy, they can make all their games F2P with cosmetics and they will still make a lot of money.
I’m in shock at just how well Overwatch runs with the latest DXVK and Lutris

Different eras of gaming, but one is the father of the other.
TF2 was freaking awesome back in the day, and still is for many people. Very far from being "bland".
Just to compare, TFC was released in 1999 and I couldn't even find the release date of the original TF, but let's say it was a few years after Quake 1 (1996). Old games that are still available to play, and they all run on Linux pretty great!

Oh my, what have I done *grabs popcorn*It's because you compared a game from 2007 and a game from 2016. Of course old fans will complain :P

Used to play TF (Quake 1 mod) a lot when I was a teenager, then played some TFC (HL1 mod) and have a few hundred hours in TF2 :)
Overwatch is cool, but all TF versions have native Linux support, so let's give them some praise shall we :D

TF2 feels like it has no identity, it feels…bland.Come on man, Team Fortress is the one that started it all, maybe it doesn't feel "modern" for today's standards, but it's still a great game, without it Overwatch probably wouldn't exist :P
