Sounds like a Unity3D issue for 2017.3 which I reported not too long ago ( https://forum.unity.com/threads/2017-3-0p2-input-getkey-changes-values-while-key-is-pressed-in-linux-builds.517376/ [External Link] )
Symptoms for the game I'm currently working on were pretty much exactly what Liam described. Hopefuelly not too many games will be affected as with the fullscreen issues.

Quoting: scaineInteresting, I thought it meant the it has real puzzles like Thimbleweed Park compared to a walking simulator. But hopefully will find the time soon to find out myself. =)Quoting: BeamboomWhat's the "hardcore" element here?Pretty sure it's just "hardcore sci-fi". From what I can tell, there's nothing particularly hardcore about the gameplay itself.

Nice will look at your Steam Controller configuration soonish. I simply max'ed out the edge spin option which seems to work pretty well but not sure if it's perfect. :-)

I definitely will once released on Linux and it's again on sale for 20 bucks as it was beginning of the year - I tend not to pay more for late release as the lowest sales price before.

@liamdawe I noticed similar issues with the default Steam Controller touch-pad settings for some games. Maybe GamingOnLinux can step-in and provide fixed versions when you guys notices such during your review process. Would be a nice added value. :-)

To easy all your fears about Valve being owned by Microsoft:

(It's 5 years old and related to an EA acquisition but I don't believe that his stance has changed much.)

It's time to bug Feral Interactive about future port requests once again

I'd be great if they focus on upcoming high profile titles. Can potentially make them more money. At least if it's released day-1 or very shortly after. On the other hand it's a gamble ofc since they don't know yet how well received an unreleased game will be.
Anyway some example I have in mind:
That said, I'd love to have a native Linux version of Life is Strange: Before the Storm but it's probably probably more and Aspyr job since the engine is Unity3D.
Also really great would be NieR: Automata or What Remains of Edith Finch.

Quoting: SamsaiSo, Pyre won nothing? This is absolutely unacceptable and I will thusly dedicate a segment of the next Friday Livestream to a special Pyre of the Year awards where Pyre wins all the categories. :P<3
