I bought it and it works great. Runs at 1920x1080 60 FPS on highest settings when playing the "classic" skin. GTX 560 with binary blob. I didn't encounter the alt-tab problem described above.
I had one issue where the song list was always empty on Fedora. The developer understands the problem and I'm sure it will be fixed soon.
