I absolutely adore "Kingdom classic", from graphics to sound and gameplay, everything felt quite perfect.
After opting in to the beta public-test steam still says that this is played via Proton.
Is there anything else I need to do to get to the Linux beta?

[quote=scaine]Wish they'd just release it already. Literally waiting to buy this, but it seems they're quite happy in EA.
I'm very reluctant with EA titles but after getting Factorio I have to say that it is already more stable then many AAA titles on release. I've had one crash so far and no real problems, even the performance of the game is excellent. After 250 hours I can only recommend this.

Quoting: ricki42Apparently it is confirmed that they will look into it, LOL:Quoting: ironheadI'm a bit sick of all these Kickstarter promised Linux ports that never show up... but Elite Dangerous promised one too so one could assume it will come out the same year as the Windows release...Is the Linux version really confirmed? All I read is they were 'considering it' and 'looking into it'.

Frontier Developments have confirmed that they are evaluating support for the next-gen console platforms XBox One and Playstation 4[1] and also Linux desktop[2], but the initial release is only planned to support Windows and Mac OS X.
