Well, that speaks volumes...
Yep, 99% of the market trumps the 1%.

Quoting: MotionshotThen why don't they release it as beta then on Steam? That way, Linux users who bought the game can help them test it while enjoying their pre-order.
You mean, so the Linux community can slate the developer for "only doing a beta release which is full of bugs and runs like sh*t, lets all tell the developer to die" ?
How can you come up with those things?

No one is doing it right now. Look at the Everspace case ; we are tolerant and co operative enough i think.
Astrokill is another great example, where they released a beta, got feedback fixed bugs and released another great game for Linux.
@jaycee was getting death threats against him and his family while he was working for VP on TW2, IIRC.

Wow … that's f***ing beautiful o_o

Looks like GOG Galaxy won't come to Linux any time soon, as it's "not a priority"

Well, I'll just skip a game on GOG when it seems to be dependent on Galaxy. We still have Steam and Humble and while the absence of DRM is welcome, it is not a necessity for me.

Quoting: elbuglionehonestly i prefeer Ubisoft and EA... at least they are honest with they customers.
Ubisoft/EA says: "hey! we are a shitty company with crap game client and pathetic pollicies"
But, at least, they DON'T LIE

Bandwidth and storage doesn't grow on trees. Staff wants to be paid. Hard- and software needs to be maintained. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The developer of the seriously slick looking 'ASTROKILL' is looking for Linux testers

Quoting: liamdaweWhat has captured my interest, is that the game is inspired by TIE Fighter and Freespace 2. Freespace 1&2 are what I consider two of the best space shooters ever, seriously I love them.
Nice! Seems that I've got to get a new joystick :D

Quoting: lucifertdarkI know Monolith are busy with their Middle Earth franchise right now but I'd like to see them work on a new entry for the Blood franchise.
Yes, please! *drool*

Wine Staging 2.12 released with Direct3D 10/11 improvements and better Mesa support
13 Jul 2017 at 7:24 am UTC Likes: 2

Quoting: soulsourceDoes the OpenGL core context usage relate to WINE's own Direct3D -> OpenGL translation layer, or does it apply to Windows applications using OpenGL (if the latter: how)?
D3D→OpenGL, IIRC. Core context usage was forced by adding MaxVersionGL to HKCU/Software/Wine/Direct3D in previous releases.

Quoting: De1m0sWhen will the precompiled version be online??
This is 2.12staging; in PlayOnLinux is the last available version for 64bit 2.10 staging!
Follow these instructions [External Link] and set the Wine version in PoL to "System". Or wait until someone on Pol wakes up and builds a new version :D
