The developers of Armello are facing a bit of a backlash over the DLC not coming to GOG

Now I'm glad that I didn't buy either. Seems like they are really not able to do even the basics things right.

Mojang working on new launcher for Minecraft, Linux might not see support

I really like minetest. I wish there was more gameplay with it, though.
Cross-compatibility with minecraft servers would be awesome.
I don't think it is feasible.

My main grip with Minetest right now is the crafting and inventory lag(it is really bad) and the lack of a good mob system, most mobs are wonky at best.

Er, yes. I mean, why wouldn't it be? It's their game, they're free to do whatever they want with it.

Anyway... good thing there are a bunch of alternatives, though some of them might need a bit more work on the game feel.
I think the question he made is because of the promise mojang made a long time ago that everyone that bought would get all updates, on all supported systems.

Quoting: KithopThat still leaves the code from the old launcher or other modpack ones to be adapted, plus, right from the FTB homepage:

"Finally, work has started to test the viability of a Linux based client. The Curse dev team has a few Linux enthusiasts among them, so they're really excited about bringing the app to Linux."

I'm sure something will be sorted out. This is not any reason to panic. :)
As I said they won't keep updating it if they need to make one system for Windows-Mac trough the new launcher, and another for Linux, through the old launcher.

That if Microsoft doesn't say: There are too few people using the old launcher, we will stop updating it and people can keep using the new launcher." And then promise a update for Linux that will come at same speed of the Skype ones.

FTB Launcher is being deprecated, and will be replaced by the Curse one, that uses the vanilla launcher to launch the game. If there is a different one for Linux and one for Mac+Windows Curse will not make an update only for Linux so...

I will probably wait for GOG version, like I did with Undertale. But that's really good news.

Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition for Linux & SteamOS is being held up (updated)

Quoting: devlandThey took a lot of flak for the previous one so they're taking the safe path of not promising/announcing anything until it's done or close to it.
That's pretty much what cdpr is doing with witcher 3.
With the amount of delays and whatnot I think they took very little "flak", I mean they delayed it how many times?

Quoting: devlandThe linux community can be very toxic when it comes to delays.
I have seen the Linux community "being toxic" in two cases: Skullgirls and Divinity, both of which delayed for more than a year.

Quoting: GuestToo bad it wasn't FO4.
Everything I've read suggests to me that Fallout 4 is crap, at least if you're a fan of RPGs. It's less of a roleplaying game and more of an FPS with RPG elements. I'll stick with Wasteland 2 for my post-apocalyptic RPG fix.
You can't have played and/or liked Fallout 3 then? Cause everything - and I do now mean everything - in FO4 is an improvement over FO3. The additions are great (you can now create/design not only your own house, but a whole village! How cool is that! :) ), nothing is taken away, nothing is simplified/dumbed down (have you seen the skill trees?!), everything is "more of the same, only better".

So if you simply can't stand first/third person perspective RPGs ala Fallout/Elder Scrolls then that's fair enough - what did you expect from FO4, really. But objectively speaking these productions are great (if a bit buggy).
Lalalala, I don't hear you Fallout 4 is crap, I will not install Windows to play it, lalalalala.

Quoting: Mountain ManStill not going to buy it until there's a steep discount... and maybe not even then. I've got too many games to catch-up on from developers who actually respect the Linux market.
Do you think they postponed the release for fun?
No, I think it is mostly incompetence and disregard for Linux gamers.
