Techland show how hilarious it is when a Linux port has no quality control with Dying Light (updated)

This is not the only issue that this game has,
The Multiplayer is also completely broken for a long time now. When you join a game you are getting instant kicked.

It seems that there is no maintenance anymore on the Linux version for a long time, are the 2 Linux Devs on Techland still working there?

Rocket League should be on Linux before the end of December

I am getting more and more the feeling that the porting of new games to Linux is getting slower and slower.
and more ports are getting canceled.

In this phase how its now going, i am little concerned that the Steam Machines ever will succeed.
Lets be Honest, the Steam Machine launch date, was not a success, and the Linux platform is still extremely lacking good tripe AAA games for the average consumer. For us Linux enthusiastic people the Linux gaming market is better than ever, but for the average consumer is really not mind blowing, little more underwhelming.

I think when the Content will not improve soon, the average consumer will ignore the Steam machines because its not appealing for them and developers will drop Linux support. because lack of interest (action, reaction scenario).

And in the end the Linux Gaming ecosystem, will be like a sick patient that is waiting for its dead.
I really hope that Valve, has a really good game strategy and will blow new excitement in the Steam Machine platform, because how its stands today the average consumer will not care.

I have my Hopes in Valve, they have a long breath if it comes with new products =).

What to you guys think?,If you see this from a average consumer perspective for once, and don´t look with you Linux glasses on.

Don't Count On Any EA Frostbite Powered Games On Linux

I have to say that i don't care at all about to this, have always personally find a crap company even when in the times when i had only Windows, and only used windows to play my games.

The only game that i ever cared was Sim city, they managed to butcher that title too, and gotten blown away with city skylines.

Personally i think we are better off without them, i don't want this buggy shit, oh the bad memories with EA games from the Windows time are hunting me again.

EA = mass production off games, but also a very bad quality assurance.

The Linux Version Of Dying Light Is Broken

Its not the only thing they need to fix,
The Multiplayer is also broken for a Long time....

When i play the game with a Windows friend, its getting disconnected every time or a timeout.
It seems that the Windows -> Linux Multiplayer compatibility is also broken for weeks.

Quoting: wojtek88@Pangachat the same for me - in my case on Ubuntu. I already had this game in library and when I try to install it it does no Disk space required, available and estimated download time - have anyone experienced such an issue before?
Had that too, just restart steam client and it was ok.
