Bought. Don't think it will run well on my APU though :p

Edit: After playing the game for two hours, I can say that the game is very much playable @720p on A10-7850K. FPS between 20-50.

The game runs on A10-7850K APU with 15-25 fps(720p,low, no hair etc). Combat with that low fps is a pain, but I always choose the sneaky playstyle in these kind of games. Thanks feral! Hope Thief and DE:HR are being considered for porting as well(similar engine, is it not?)

Wonder what triggers a survey. I had to reinstall Steam after upgrading to Xubuntu 16.10, and then I got the survey. Maybe hw/sw changes triggers it?

Add oibaf or padoka ppas if you use ubuntu. They are usually updated at least once a week. They might be a bit unstable though, since they are "bleeding-edge", so be prepared to do a rollback(using ppa-purge and a dist-upgrade).

Yeah but the extent of the distortion on Gall-Peters' cylindrically projected map is visibly ugly(top and bottom). Mercator's projection maintains compass bearing along it's vertical lines, making it more useful and the preferred world map. Yes, that makes countries along the equator smaller, but that video is a joke. Racism reaaally? It would be xenophobia if anything lol. But really its not, its just a more practical map.

Wasn't aware that navigation was important in this game. My bad. The video is just one of many explaining the issue, I just picked the one at the top. There are probably prettier alternatives in between the Gall-Peters and Mercator maps that maintain area sizes better that could be used if this game wasn't so heavily dependent on navigation.

A bit skeptical. Being on Kaveri, my experience with the upgrade of Dreamfall chapters to unity 5 was not very good. Performance got worse actually. Seems like some of their shaders was not optimised for AMD, as some scenes was ok, while others was a slideshow. Among the sleep crashes at startup for me right now, so i can't test if the performance is better or worse.
It was playable before, but not excellent.
Firewatch and The Long Dark both performed well(except the fire-shader which is lags a bit in TLD).
