I only hope my logitech momo race will be supported on it..
Recent Linux kernels support most Logitech wheels, but Linux games rarely do. SDL2 provides a force feedback (or haptic) API, so it's up to the developer/porter to make use of it. I wonder if the Showdown port or the native Euro Truck Simulator 2 support force feedback at all on Linux.

ETS2 supports force feedback. At least for g25 the problem is with the drivers. There seems to be wip driver here https://github.com/edwin-v/linux-hid-lg4ff-next [External Link].
Thanks a lot, I'll give it a look.

Will buy it imediately. I only hope my logitech momo race will be supported on it... arma 3 port doesn't recognize my wheel, and on tux kart the force feedback is missing. I'm afraid the reason is the kernel...

Arma 3 Compared On SteamOS & Windows

Hereby I can confirm a better performance by working on ubuntu (14.04/15.10) than on windows. Both tested with nvidia 355 drivers. It seems unrealistic, but it's fact: windows native apps loose against vp applications!

Arma 3 Available For Linux In A Beta

They wrote the game could remain on beta, but they still update every day arma 3. You can see it on steamdb.info/linux. Sometimes they stop at week end.
IMO it's impossible that such intelligent people from bistudio would spend so much money for a broken projekt. And I don't think they have so much money to put it in an unfinished game.
So I play it every day, bought DLC's and have much fun.

Arma 3 Public Linux Beta Soon, Being Used As An Evaluation

IMO this game is the most difficult game to be ported to other platforms, so I'm really curious to see the results. It's like Dr.Frankenstein trying out to resurrect a corpse.. And I already bought this corpse.
