To avoid the support from the devs and publishers, valve could implement install buttons with installers made from the community, but approved from valve (like an app in a serious app store), and if publishers decide to give their own support like native port or compatibility port, they can add their own supported install button. so no one is forced to give support, the community can contribute, valve has the control of the buttons and linux can grow.

Quoting: evergreenHello, I tried to use Lutris for dxvk. I use ubuntu 18.04 but steam on lutris doesn't install. What distro is the best and easiest to install and use dxvk/Lutris?
Ubuntu is probably the most supported.
Use the Lutris web installers to install a Steam game that you have on your Steam account, it will install Steam with it. From then on you can just right click Steam in the left (runners) panel and click run.
Example...https://lutris.net/games/ghostbusters-the-video-game/
Oh thank you very much! The installation works perfect!

I simply love this game, it would be nice to avoid switching hard disk, also because of annoying time change and logitech unifying drop by switching between virOS and ubuntu

What are you playing this weekend?

No man’s sky on wine. It has some lag when you stop walking, but it works.
I also wanted to try Arma 3 experimental port with exile mod, but windows servers are not compatible...
