Garry, who fosters a hostile environment over at facepunch, has always been an arrogant asshole and its kinda funny since his admins on the facepunch forums are notorious for being "abusive, demanding, and rude" themselves that he would even mention what the Linux community does.

Its strange as there are games EAC that work on linux natively that they wouldn't actually try to get it working with proton, but who knows, developers are sometimes funny and believe that its easier to cheat on Linux then on windows, except that 90% if not all of the cheating software only runs on windows.
Valve's card game Artifact seems to be dying off and fairly quickly too

They over gimmicked the game with the three lane bullshit, no one ever wanted that, if they would have kept it setup like magic the gathering, it would have shot off.
Epic and Improbable are taking advantage of Unity with the SpatialOS debacle, seems a little planned

Quoting: ageresSo, Epic Games added SpatialOS to this list: https://twitter.com/flibitijibibo/status/1079575301485723648 [External Link]Linux did it first. Like the 100s of distros didn't cause that issue, the difference between all of those platforms and Linux, is that they are stable and the developers know what they are working with. When we as a Linux community decide to stop factoring the Linux desktop then maybe developers would jump on the Linux bandwagon.
Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTWhats the point? Unity fools their customers with their new licenses. Now someone takes advantage of that... What's the problem?Thats exactly what happened, one company made a grave mistake, another will come in and swoop up as many devs as they can. Epic's actually really friendly with developers, and they would be the same with Linux developers if there were any. But there are none, there are individuals in companies who developer FOR Linux, but as Epic sees it, not ON Linux. I was hoping the community would get their heads out of their whiny asses and jump on the UE4 but everyone is still butt hurt over Unreal 3, and the engine isn't infected with the GPL license.
Maybe I just don't get it because my English sucks...!?

Crowdfunding with linux support means as soon as they get the money they need they abandon linux.

Quoting: EhvisThe Tech Demo has had a Linux build for four or five months. I have kept an eye on the development, but I'm definitely waiting till at least early access (which has already been delayed for quite some time) before trying it. I wonder if some of their devs have been Linux users from the start. That would explain the choice of a native OpenGL engine. You should look at the list of developers and then you'll understand why there is a native linux client with a native OpenGL backend.

Let's not pretend Mesa is perfect. All software has bugs and regressions.

Quoting: TheRiddickYeah they are launching a kickstarter in feburary and hopefully it has a Linux goal or something.Like all the others who have a Linux goal only to just ignore it later on and even remove any mention of Linux anywhere?
