I guess keeping it as DLC gives ability for people to disable it if they don't want it. This is the only reason that I can see why they made this into DLC.

well, I just updated to Ubuntu 15.10 and the first time I booted up steam I've got a survey! I'm now 99% sure that you get the survey if you change something in your system.

I am not sure why would they do it. If they won't sell it with SteamOS they can't package steam controller and will not get any advertising on steam hardware. Not sure about advertisement, but in my opinion steam controller is quite important for pc gaming on the couch!

OK guys, you can stop the ranting about the bad launch now (Fallout 4 came out on the same day, remember?). Now there is a picture of steam hardware at the top, where Fallout 4 used to be. You happy now?

I wasn't even expecting for Valve to do something special on launch. All their products so far produced most of the hype hype themselves.

This is exactly why I bought Alien Isolation on Steam. No tux/SteamOS logo no bucks or something like that. (although I haven't played it since I am still hoping to win the key :D)
