This is something I've been expecting (although not so soon).
I do hope it's true

Quoting: Ray54...
A flatpack of wine version 1.6 sounds much easier, but would it work as I expect?
Probably. I'm assuming a known to work wine version gets bundled with each game in the winepaks

Now I'm surprised. Wasn't there an Amiga(?) game with a similar name?
I couldn't say. Just remember playing it on the N64 as a kid!

Quoting: KimyrielleBeing my brutally honest self...thanks, but we don't need yet another garage game on Linux. We got a few thousand of these. What's Turok anyway? What we need at this point are AAA titles. Stuff that makes people go "Wow, you Penguin people can play THAT???" Icculus is a human porting machine who can get anything ported you throw at him. His talents are completely wasted porting B list games. Again, what's Turok? Somebody go convince Bethesda or a company like it to let him have a go at their back catalog. Please?

Quoting: DoctorJunglistHas anyone figured out a way to make the Steam controller work for Wine gaming? I tried it with the SC Controller driver, but the button mappings are messed up (at least in Tekken 7).
dumbxinput [External Link] <- I'm using this (or perhaps a variation of it). Works for The Witcher 3 & Darksiders Warmastered Edition, at least. Haven't tried much else yet.

Edit: in combination with the SC Controller

Quoting: beko…is platform cross playing sorted out?
from Aspyrs' blog: [External Link]
Q: Civilization VI: Why no Mac/Linux cross platform multiplayer yet with Windows? Where’s Rise & Fall?

A: We have been working since launch to support cross-platform multiplayer. Unfortunately we’ve faced some daunting game breaking bugs which have resulted in much more development effort for all teams and cross-platform multiplayer delays. We truly want to bring this feature to our audience and appreciate everyone’s patience. You’ll be the first to know when a fix has been implemented, approved and deemed prime time ready.

Rise and Fall for Mac and Linux is still in development. We’re looking at late March/early April for their release.

As far as I know my APU/dGPU laptop with a 8670M (HAINAN) doesn't have amdgpu kernel support (yet). Will have to try and see if this actually works.
