A little about me
studying "Informatik - Game Engineering" in Germany. Obsessed with VALVe and open standards. Mainly interested in graphics programming and computer-vision. Using Linux since ~5 years. I don't dislike proprietary software that much, but I think the industry (as a whole) should agree to open standards allowing them to compete equally (like they did with OpenGL/WebGL/glTF/Vulkan and TCP/IP). Linux is imho the best "base" OS-wise as a platform where every company could spur on fair competition
