So this game like, all the other Feral titles I own, looses 1/3 of the FPS in respect to Windows. I'm curious: does the game run under WINE? And if it runs, how it performs?

The game is a lot more in the vein of the original Fallout. If you played them, you know what to expect: strange situations and encounters, seldom on the edge situations. Forget the more FPS style that Fallout 3 had (in fact, to me Fallout 3 is a FPS with RPG elements).

Quoting: ShmerlF:NV works like a charm under WINE (you must use CSMT for decent performance). That said, I found the game boring because of Obsidian way of doing games: they throw at you a billion moral choices like everything in the game world depends on you. That seems interesting the first times you do it, but later it becomes irritating, it too much anxiety for me. And I still can get way everyone in the game world wants to kill me.Quoting: KimyrielleHas anyone tried to run ESO or Fallout 4 with the newer WINE releases?I was planning to play Fallout: New Vegas sometime in the future (got in on GOG sale). I've heard it's the best of the newer Fallout games.

Please, can someone explain what does it mean "OpenGL Core Contenxt"? Does it mean that I could finally run Rage or Wolfenstein The New Order using Mesa drivers? I'm totally wrong?

I will not buy this game (sorry, Feral!), but having Vulkan support from day-1 is a good news.

That 2 days trial for Deus Ex is ridiculous: it's a 67 GB game, how am I supposed to download the game in less than a week?

Quoting: razing32Personally i am wondering if the new Pirahna Bytes game , ELEX , will work.I finished all the Risen game under WINE, so I'm with you on their next game: I bet it will work right from day-1.
I kinda nuked windows off my PC and Laptop and that is one game I would love to play.

Quoting: GuestComically I'm sitting here thinking about how I appreciate the work the WINE devs do...which means soon for seemingly no reason after WINE has been a thing for so long MSFT will sue the project citing it as a way to circumvent needing a Windows license because it's become too functional as a Windows "clone."Microsoft can stop us form using their libraries: if I recall correctly, in every EULA of their redistributable is stated that you can't use it outside Windows. That's why the WINE devs are reimplementing a lot of DLLs.

I don't know if I said this before, but I'm completely in love with the "Penguin drinking wine" icon and I wait for WINE news only to see it again and again! It makes me smile, don't ask me why, I found it very hilarious! :)
