This game felt and looked promising long ago. I just checked Steam reviews; doesn't sound like there is enough to do in the game to justify the cost at this point.

I haven't played this in a long time. Hmm, September might be when I'm ready again. I'm guessing I'll build like one factory and then be done again as I already have 100 hours in it.

I was hoping for a nice alternative to The Sims.
You know, those cited games that aren't doing great are more or less copycat games. All games borrow elements from each other, but there should be a number of unique aspects. When I look at Millennia, I think that Old World looks more attractive for example.
Age of Wonders 4, though, now that looks pretty nice.
