Very promising! Perhaps something to play with kids after Candle and Figment.

I hope one day, the long battle with broken screen or lost performance after every other nvidia/kernel/xorg update will be over. I also hope it will be over because they fix it, not because i ditch the laptop :D

For an anti-social person who only added some friends by accident and is now bothered with being notified about this and that, this is a welcome news! :D

Loved the 1st game and have been keeping an eye on the prequel ever since it came out. So glad to see it is coming to Linux, thank you Feral!

Tried this updated TDM yesterday, first impressions were quite good. I play BO regularly and the ability to go everywhere in TDM (like in Free 4 All) felt refreshing. I haven't spawned behind an enemy nor did anyone materialised behind my own back. Will see in the long run, of course. Pity I still have frustrating lags most of the time :(

Quoting: GuestCheers for this Hamish! I still occasionally go back to play Quake4. Just a good solid shooter, at least for me. I think last time I cheated and ran it via wine, where I had far fewer problems (and felt kind of dirty), but I might give native a go again next time and try some of the suggestions here.I'd write exactly the same for myself.

BO is the very first game I play with my son. Most of the time, we end up in opposite teams. Most of that time, I end up dead if we meet :D I keep complaining about lags, but he plays on the same network and nails it almost every time. Then, after a game, he scolds me for how bad I was

So... I've tried it out, took some time to get to a game, also got killed through walls more than usual. On the other hand, the games I got into were intense, with each ending up pretty close, so the team were really better balanced. Can't say more right now, perhaps just that cranes in Overhead were speeding up during one game until their movement became rather comic :D
There's another 'Life is Strange' on the way

This is great news. I immensely enjoyed the first parts of the game, especially the first 2 episodes were incredible. The more it became a butterfly-effect-like story though, the less comfortable I felt. That doesn't necessarily mean it was bad, just not how I would prefer the story to unfold. I would still recommend it to anyone and would definitely love to see a sequel.
