Quoting: edddeduckferalI'm running Arch.Quoting: m0uHHey Guys!We had it running just fine on Arch Linux (unsupported) so we know it works even if we don't support all the possible edge cases.
Has it someone running on arch? I'm stucking at the intro and finally it crashes.

Try using the launch option --system-asound in Steam client, we added this as it helps on some systems (including Arch) that have issues due to system / Steam runtime conflicts. :)

Installed and tested. Running smoothly on high on my rig. Check my HW info for details.
Nice job Feral!
I also think €30 is a great price for this kind of game. More games should be available at this price point.

Happy Birthday Valve! I hope you're reading this because I think you guys deserve it more than anyone!
Thanks for the great games you created.
Thanks for taking Linux as a gaming platform seriously. It wouldn't be the same without your efforts!
Thanks for the ease of Steam platform and products.
Thanks for the Steam Controller, a small piece of hardware with such a lot of potential!
Thanks for believing and for doing things right.
Hopefully I can add a thank you for HL3 on Linux on launch-day soon... ;-)

No Man's Sky has been shown to work rather well in Wine on Linux

I agree that Wine is a viable alternative when you're really desperate for a game, but never really used it. All I did was toy around with it. Too many games on Linux to bother. My rule of thumb is No Tux, no bucks too.
Once Doom is properly running on Linux though, I won't hesitate and make an exception. I do have principles, but I'm only human and have desires too... :-P

Quoting: KimyrielleI tolerate Steam's DRM, but Always On is a bit much. I don't get why companies still do this, as they now have a pretty much unbreakable DRM (Denuvo). Other than that it looks fun! Glad to see SE really getting into supporting Linux. That's the way I feel too, however I believe it is simply a matter of ideology for many people. It is the way how someone experiences the free Linux platform and what they have come to expect it to be.

Yep, must have for me!
I've always been fond of the franchise and can't wait to play it on Linux.
To be fair, I don't care too much about the DRM. As long as it's not intrusive to my system and lets me enjoy my game, I'm OK with it.
