Quoting: pbRe Fall Guys: Is it just the fix from ProtonDB comments or something more? Because that fix didn't work for me on two accounts/computers. One is stuck on "loading" and the other has some weird pop-up about missing files and then shuts off.
Same, I tried the fix and got stuck on the "loading" after passing the "start" button and hearing the fireworks.
Same now with GE-proton715.

If verify the game files and it always finds 1 file failed to validate and will be reqauired (a file when downloaded is 144b) can't seem to get past this :/
You have to link your Steam account in Epic Games. If this doesn't work, you have to open the game in Windows to enter your age. Probably the game isn't able to open the age window in proton.

NVidia is so disappointing, they are taking decades to give proper support for optimus in Linux! I realy hope Radeon Navi cards become a standart in mid-class gamming laptops to finally switch from NV to the better support of AMD.

Beginnings of a Vulkan backend for WineD3D.
I'm confused about just what this represents and how it interacts with or complements or duplicates DXVK and certain sister projects to DXVK.
It's an idependent project, not a duplicate. Wine team tried to contact DXVK author multiple times, without any response. In addition, DXVK is writen in C++, Wine adopted pure C. So, they decided to make their own Vulkan adapter, totally different from DXVK. Basically, it will not interact with DXVK, like the actual OpenGL version of WINED3D do.

During the X.org Developer's Conference 2018, occurred one presentation [External Link] about EGL extensions directed to device selection and a workshop [External Link] with Kyle Brenneman from NVIDIA, also known as Kyle the Savior, who is cited in the NVIDIA forum post. So, they are still designing the proper Optimus support for Linux, but we rope they figure out a way soon.
