This same thing comes up on almost every Stadia mention. The reason is the same as always: market share is low, and Stadia is one single platform for testing, the Linux desktop is many.
Isn't stadia build on top of Debian?

It kind of bogs me that there are stadia versions of games which do not end up releasing an installable build for Linux, tbh.

Quoting: t3gI don’t play these games, but if you play an Ubi game on Steam it launches Uplay after. Is the Uplay integration workable in Proton?
Yes, at least Watch Dogs 2 worked for me.

Am I the only one who thinks that all that's left of the old Assassin's Creed are the name, the watchtowers and the hidden blades? I mean, we haven't heard from the order since Syndicate (it's well worked out, but I find it dissapointing nonetheless)

Great news! I was looking into replacing my 5 year old low end laptop sometime in the near future, this might be a good chance to get a good GNU/Linux laptop instead of a windows one and having to remove it to install a distro!!

There's now over 6,000 Linux games on Steam plus thousands more playable with Steam Play Proton

The main problem might be the % of those games that are AAA games, which are the ones that the mayority of people play. Nevertheless. it's an amazing achievement, now i can play almost every game in my library with no work at all for the vast mayority of them hehe

Tomb Raider, the awesome 2013 version looks like it's heading to SteamOS & Linux

Quoting: linuxgamerReally great news. On the downside we have to wait probably 2 months or even longer as usual. Last year I was hoping for TR13 to be released before TR16, but that is obviously impossible now.

Quoting: ZeloxI imagen this is a test, if tomb raider from 2013 sells good, we will see the second game ported aswell.
I hope the port is good, cause the game is really good overall ^^
I don't think the game has so much sale potential anymore, I got it for 4€ in 2014 (shame on me, I think it was my last Win only/Wine game), on the Winter sale it was sold for 3€. I will buy the DLC, no doubt.
Even in that case, if it proves profitable (if the pc code was not very windows dependant, it might have been a cheap port, so it would not require huge sales to be so), we might see more games coming.

I think Feral is doing it, they said they were doing a new game + they did the OS X version. The best part is, this open the door for more SE (or, at least, Eidos) games to come in the future, so... Deus Ex! Hitman!

I hope this is successful on Linux and we get some of those + Rise of the Tomb Raider
