Because if two games are very similar then it really might come down to a cointoss as to how people vote, and so all the votes for those games would be split in half. But if they could rank them then both of those games would get a bunch of 5's and 4's which might be more accurate

Can we, really? It would be lovely if it used some sort of clever filtering to change color based on the background and always have sufficient contrast. Even the 'high contrast' (i. e. green) option may have issues with things like grass etc

It's been tested with 100's of games on steam both 32bit and 64bit. I have been meaning to clean it up a bit and place on github.
I might try and find the time to do so if people here are keen.

It's probably steam client beta only. Should add it to the article
