The big Steam Autumn Sale is now live, time to nominate for the Steam Awards

It was out of stock for me when I wanted to buy one but back in stock this morning for few minutes (in France). I manged to buy one sadly the shipping (10€) is for each controller so I couldn't buy several without having a huge price to pay.

So it might be worth checking regularly if you still want to grab one

Star Citizen to use Vulkan instead of DirectX 12 and drop DirectX 11 eventually

I think I bought it for 20€ or something ^^
And about the Duke Nukem comparison, even if it's far from being finished it is already way better than that. You can already spend several hours playing it and having fun with it (yes I know, this is one of the 2 games forcing me to keep my dual boot partition because I bought it before switching to Linux...). Don't forget that for most of MMO and big AAA we don't hear about it until it's almost ready (like one or 2 years before max). They are showing all their progress from the beginning and that's a reason why it seems so long to finish.

But on the topic, Vulkan is awesome and a really good call. I really have a good feeling about the decisions of this development team (even if having Linux ready sooner would be cool...)

Total War: WARHAMMER has two free new content packs available (UPDATED)

Quoting: MintedGamerIt does look like its a lot of content, the update is 1.9GB
Well it makes sense because the majority of the units (and the map) were already there, just not playable in the campaign

What ? Bretonnia not Warhammerish ? What xD They have been a part of Warhammer lore from years now...
And there is a lot of diversity in the factions, what you are describing could fit the Empire or the Skavens but you'll hardly describe the Tomb Kings, Lizardmen or... Bretonnianslike this (except for the cynical part because there is still a lot of caricature and cynisism in the depiction of these proud knights exploiting the poor peasants while still showing only contempt for them).

Total War: SHOGUN 2 looks like it will be heading to Linux & SteamOS

Oh yes ! :D
This is one of the few Windows game I own from before I switched to Linux. I won't be supporting Feral on this one though because I already have it :/
(but I guess that the port process shouldn't be that much work considering they already ported it on Mac)

Watch this video of David Airlie (Redhat) talking about Vulkan and other bits

I already watched it and it is a super interesting talk if you are interested at least a little by Vulkan :)

You can get Total War WARHAMMER for $12 in the current Humble Monthly Bundle

Looking at the main page it seems that Feral announced that they are working on it with Metal. So it's pretty much confirmed that it is coming if I'm not mistaken (someone that knows more should be able to confirm this if true ^^).

But wow, I picked my first Humble Monthly last month for XCOM2 and now this ? :O It's way cheapper than in the Steam sale (plus with luck, maybe one or two good Linux game coming with it)
Just one thing I want to know before buying. I no longer see any mention of Denuvo in the main page, has it been removed ? At least in the Linux version ? (if yes, that's a new buyer :D)

We have 99 keys of IMPOSSIBALL to give away to Linux gamers willing to test it out
4 Jan 2017 at 6:22 pm UTC

Thanks to the devs for giving a key away :-D
I quickly tested and it runs for me. I have some trouble with the input, is it possible to rebind the keys ? (that's really important for non QWERTY keyboards, it's annoying to change out of the game)
The gamepad isn't working for me but considering I installed my system recently it might be my own mistake. I'll test more carefully when I'll have time :-)

I might be dreaming but could it help Bethesda realise that a port would be interesting for them ?
