This is just for the Steam Big Picture mode. You can use Big Picture on a regular desktop Linux computer, you don't need a Steam Deck or a Steam Machine.

The option itself, once you launch Big Picture: Steam menu -> Settings -> Home -> Big Art Mode

While these Remote Play fixes and new features are being added, the Steam Link device is being updated as well I believe. I got like two updates in the recent weeks, which is rare!
