Quoting: EikeProbably the one obvious question to them:
Which technical problems have held up the port?
Quoting: rustybroomhandleNo matter if none or not, this is the most interesting question for me as well. Can it be that Civ6 will use Vulkan on Linux and as it was first Vulkan port caused "feasibility" and delay comparing to Mac release?Quoting: EikeProbably the one obvious question to them:None. Originally there was going to be no Linux port at all, but since we jumped up & down they decided to reevaluate the "feasibility" of said port and it would appear they decided to do it after all.

What if Valve realized that exposing their success with L4D better performance under Linux just helped MS to realize they need to reinvest in directX and in effect did not help Valve? What if Gabe did not like it that much and thought they should be less open about the progress? They surely realize OpenGL limitations and so went into Mantle->Vulkan efforts inviting a lot of players into the project. I assume similar happened to engines producers. Valve realized whole infrastructure needs to be ready first to go 100% competition with M$. Since we clearly see improvements with drivers, engines, work with VR etc., I just think Valve is just quietly improving SteamOS into preparing to hit big. Look at how Nintendo, Sony or MS are working on new platforms. They are quiet until they are sure they can hit hard. This is valid and verified strategy.
Fossil Echo, a beautiful looking story-driven platformer should come to Linux soon

For me it would be Rocket League as well. Playing so much it with my 9 year old son!
Personally had a great time with Shadow of Mordor, Life is Strange and now Deus Ex.
Need to agree - GOL and this community helps to keep focused on Linux gaming a lot. Steam and Valce helped so much. I would not believe 3.5 year ago if someone told me after that time we will have 3K games with ports like I mentioned. Now just wish within next 3,5 years it will be really strange if any PC publisher do not target Linux as a day one release for every game!

I will have to check it again. I used some of community schemes which one of them was very good for tank control after little tweaking. I loved the possibility to aim correction using gyro. Nevertheless for planes it was not really good. Will check again. Wondering how the controls of plane has been solved for PS4. My problem is my STeamMachine is in the living room and using keyboard with mouse is very unconvenient for me. I know I can stream the game to a laptop to the other room, but then I loose my big screen. Well I hope I can find community scheme now that solves plane control (:

Quoting: TealYou can play the game on Steam - have you tried looking for some community based control schemes there? Thanks for the answer! (:
Let me point out that even though the game is on PS4, it's generally considered better to plug a keyboard and mouse even into that.
So, yeah, it's not a very controller friendly kind of a game to begin with.
