Even though I somehow miss the times Internet was just starting and when the Linux was really something most people did not even hear of, I am so glad and happy for how big it became. Now with M$ producing their ntfs, mssql, .net and so much more for our platform, its just so clear there is no other direction but to grow further and getting stronger. Even Nadella sees it. Openess, mutual work and sharing for the win! Maybe some day we can also get rid of sick patenting system. Happy birthday Linux! < 3 Thank You Linus, You have done and caused one of the greatest thing for humanity!

Happy birthday Valve! Thank You Gabe! Thank You Feral! Thank You Aspyr, Ethan Lee and any other todays and future Linux supporter!
I did not use any dualboot for more than 10 years myself, but I had a PS1,2,3,4. Last year built Steam Machine and realized I have enough titles to play under linux not to need sony anymore. Sold it and live happily with SteamOS as a console platform (ok, still have WiiU, for Kids oriented games though).

Tower 57, a modern take on what made AMIGA top down shooter games cool
23 Aug 2016 at 12:40 pm UTC

Quoting: lijuDo You know what are the requirements for Amiga version? Trying to find it out, but neither official webpage nor the steam forums seems to bring an answer..
According to a dev:
AOS4: AOS 4.1, PPC >=700 MHz, Radeon that supports W3D or Compositing
MorphOS: MOS >= 3.6, Gfx card supporting TinyGL 3D acceleration
AROS: x86, gfx card supporting Mesa 3D acceleration
So thats a no go for my Amiga1200 :P
Thanks! Was wondering if AGA would be able to handle this. Well that means I will stick only to Linux version then (:

To be fair, there could be a lot of assumptions derived from the font, font color, background color, background textures, size of the font, and even the ellipsis.
Or even the text "3 days..." itself ;p

Linux version of VIDEOBALL being blocked by publisher, developer comments on it

Isn't it the same publisher who aprooved exclusivity to Killer Instinct for microsft? Just wondering. Recently I have read an interview with Eddie Fres (MS game studios boss) in Pixel magazine and he clearly stated they had important meeting with Witcher 3 developers after it was published. Not sure how far it can go and if I do not dive into conspiracy theory, but in nowadays business I can imagine some agreements with publishers signed with that company to avoid linux versions. If they did it for Killer Instinct, maybe the agreement was more wide and include other titles published by IGS?

Didn't test that, but the interface is mostly left clicking so it should be pish easy.
Thanks. Then I might have a try :)
