Just finished the previous DLC a month ago. I think I'm ready for a little more silly grinding.

As long as AMD can't match their single core speeds, Intel will be the one laughing.

From that they of course mean more in how the abilities will work together, given their wording and description of different effects rather than technical on jumping around and mashing lots of buttons to perform special manoeuvres.
Might be that there are in depth choices for character builds which can make a lot of difference. The the first impression is based off the description and the video. And from the video I get the distinct impression that this is a turn based combat system disguising as action. Which might be really good, but not something I would call a "complex fighting system".

However, there is a demo, so I'll give it a go and see how it feels!

Quoting: NanobangIs there a map? I need some sort of in game mapping function in these games. I've never finished Subnautica for this (and a couple other reasons, if I'm honest).

I recently saw 'The Shallows' [External Link] and the thought of swimming around in shark-infested waters is simply terrifying --- which, of course, makes me want to play it even more. :woot: Wishlisted!
No map when I last played it. In fact, finding your way was very difficult. From a distance everything looks the same and it's easy to not navigate back correctly and find yourself lost. It is really part of the game though. I try to put down things on islands that point the way back to the previous island I was. The sense of disorientation and tension on the water is very well done.

This is what happens when developers solve the problem instead of management. Good to see that this can still happen. Although I highly doubt that performance will be equal (UE4 has never managed that), it should be enough. Looking forward to this one!

Quoting: silmethBut DX12 also works on Win10 – so unfortunately I think they might push for DX12 with the argument that then it works both on PCs (actually only on Win10, but that’s PC for them, isn’t it?) and on XBox.
That would still be forcing that DirectX on a company that has never used DirectX in their existence. This would be a monumental waste of money that might even break id software. Not so sure that even microsoft would do that for a relatively small gain.
