Also immediately clear that the Linux release has been delayed. If not cancelled.

Quoting: Luke_NukemI wonder how much influence Powerslide (by Ratbag Games) had on this.
Powerslide is easily the racing games I enjoyed the most. I spent so much time getting good. And it had a few silly challenge track as well (like The Luge). Good times. This game does remind me of it somewhat in style. Gameplay is another thing though. I played Powerslide with keyboard only because that was how things were in those days. That's probably not going to be a great option for this one. I'd like steering wheel support with some force feedback though.

Only played this game a little. It's pretty tough on your own so trying it in coop would be nice.

Quoting: GuestEven if it is just a game, the idea that you make animals fight each other for your business disturbs me too much.
My child will never play this or any other pokemon related game.
Same here. No matter how cute any game of this type may look, the initial concept is much too disturbing for me. I haven't even seen any of these games try to hide the concept behind something more innocent, like having the creatures pillowfight or who-gives-the-best-compliments battles (which I have seen in other game types).
Maybe Ooblets will be something for you then. The battles there are dance battles. No contact at all. Currently only on the Epic Store though, but I assume the devs will eventually want to sell the game, so it'll no doubt come to Steam when it comes out of EA.

Quoting: subThe game mechanics look great.

But what is the actual game about?
I play as this monster blob and kill some humans?
I really fail to see the goal of the game from the videos. :D
IIRC from the demo, escape from where you were being held.

Linux distro Fedora 33 may get DXVK as the default for Wine

Quoting: EhvisSounds like a terrible idea. DXVK is for games and does not work for most non-game software. The default should not be limited like that.
What do you mean by ‘does not work’ here,
Don't know the exact limitations since I'm not an expert on the matter, but as I understand it, dxvk won't interoperate with the rest of win32. Something that games don't do anyway, but most desktop 3d software does.

KDE teams up with Slimbook to bring a stylish new AMD Ryzen 4800H laptop

Quoting: kit89It looks like a nice laptop, but I can't find what the weight of the machine is. Being advertised as a SlimBook I can only imagine it's not heavy, their website is somewhat light on information.
The weight is there on the pages. Written in very big numbers

Seems very similar to the Pulse in both specs and pricing. Nice to have choice.

Edit: oh wait, technically a different model for the weight. Can't imagine it's much different though since the Pro X 15 looks pretty slim to me as well.

On the part of the 32 bit packages of the 450 driver in the PPA. The bug was marked fixed 8 hours ago and I can indeed see the 32 packages now.
