Never played pizza tycoon but I instantly got reminded of Pizza Syndicate (aka Fast Food Tycoon).
Scanner Sombre, a stunning exploration & horror game from Introversion looks like it's heading to Linux

Damn now I'm sad. I watched a complete play through because I didn't think it would come for Linux oO
Unfortunately this kind of game doesn't have a high replay factor

It works quite okay when you are in an race itself (ultra low to low) but the menu is really painful. It feels like the "video" in the background is rendered in full quality making the natural very slow and sluggish

Quoting: darkszlufJust did that yesterday after I've been able to install the free weekend version via Steam Bug Picture.Quoting: HedajaI definitely would wanna buy it...I just don't have enough RAM -.-this game has an ultra low preset that would run on a potato with 2GB of ram so i would give it a try.
seriously with my computer i can run it at ultra low 120fps at 1080p or low 45fps 720p

mhhh
right now it only seems to be possible if you own the game. Otherwise it doesn't show up in the steam libarary and therefore you can't opt-in
Or am I seeing that wrong?
Edit: confirmed by the developer. He said the Linux version still has quite some issues so he doesn't wanna put out an official Linux demo

I think that's nothing only related to Linux. I did some gaming on my father's laptop for a while. And without setting it to performance I had games running very poorly.
But I always had the CPU-Indicator in Ubuntu and therefore never had troubles changing it. I also do it for other CPU intensive stuff. I still have to take a closer look at schedutil.

Wait. It officially out of beta just now? Oo
I played it for a long time and it never felt like beta. It runs flawlessly on Linux with same performance as on Windows for me.
Unfortunately Gajin didn't do a version for Crossing :(

unfortunaly my computer wouldn't be able to handle it anyways (like a lot of modoern games). Everything just uses massive amounts of RAM these days oO
