Quoting: antisoldon't expect the support to be super fast. If it is super-fast, say "wow, that was super fast! Thanks so much!" (Hi, Running With Scissors!)
Yeah, fast support is rare and in my opinion should be rewarded (I bought two additional copies of Mini Metro because of fast issue workaround from developers).

Quoting: KimyrielleNo matter how many devs they throw at it: On the NVidia end, people always will have to use the proprietary drivers, unless some sanity returns to NVidia management (which is highly unlikely), no?
Or at least some sanity returns to people who use Nvidia's hardware, which is possible, in my opinion.

Quoting: GuestAnother thing we desperately need is professional software the likes of AutoCAD and such, especially with Vulkan finally here! There are also many users that have to use those programs and software for their professions.
There is BricsCAD that aim to be drop-in replacement for AutoCAD, from complete DWG support to similar shortcuts and CLI.

Looks like GOG Galaxy won't come to Linux any time soon, as it's "not a priority"

I wonder if JuriJ, who was (and maybe still is) head of GOG support, is works there this days.

We had nice conversation with him in year 2011 about Linux support at GOG. He sent me dozen and half e-mails with detailed explanation of why I am wrong, why nobody makes games for Linux (because nobody buys it, he said, and mention EA as example) and why they are not going to release games for Linux (because they make good money without it, he said; but in next letter he takes his words back, and accept it was emotional).

So when CDR cancelled TW3 port it doesn't surprise me. Now I am not surprised either. Because, you know, it's unlikely that JuriJ is only one at GOG who looks at Linux this way.
