Valve Has Announced The SteamOS Built On Linux UPDATED

Ok so totally off topic here..but anyone her check out the kickstarter for the game called ".DECIMAL", and check out the FAQ: "What Platforms will .DECIMAL be released for"....and the reply for that was "Currently, .Decimal is slated as a Windows PC title through digital distribution because this type of game is heavily dependent on mouse interaction.".  ...I backed it just to get a reply about this. This doesn't make any sense. So apparently Linux doesn't have enough mouse interaction as Windows does??

This game is decent. You can def tell it was a port from a mobile app. Just the way the button layout is. Its pretty good for what it is though. I bought it on the ubuntu software center. I will buy it again once it hits steam.

Game Developers Talk Up OpenGL At PAX Prime 2013

Quoting: Lord AvallonI hope other developers follow the same path, why using DirectX to make a game locked on Windows when you have OpenGL? I am happy to see people realising that multiplatform development is much better, it saves resources and time!
Exactly..i think all those companies who say they want to support multiple platforms should start from the beginning. Not like those game companies that create a game working on windows, and then have to go back and port them later. That just wastes more time and resources, and they have to go through more bug fixing. I know they just want to rush and get the game working, but if they would just realize that making it multiplatform from the start, that they would save so much time and hassle.

You wouldn't have console games if you didn't have PC. I believe PC is the best platform. I have a PS3, with about 20 games, and the only thing we use it for, is Netflix in the living room.

I wish the damn developers who say they are going to make multiplatform support for their games, would work on all three versions from the start! These guys got millions to make this game.

For Hairbraned Schemes anyway.
