Gamescope has my attention! I use steamcompmgr today with steamos-compositor-plus from AUR, running on AMD hardware. This is great news! Steamcompmgr has many bugs (black screen, scaling, cropping) and requires to be run standalone (no other compositors).

Quoting: GuestSeems like I still have to set manually PROTON_USE_D9VK=1... I hoped it would be enabled by default now with DXVK :-)Nothing's changed regards to that, only the way Proton builds it (from one repo instead of two). D9VK is made of separate dll files compared to DXVK. All that environment variable does is selects DXVK's d3d9 dlls instead of Wine's. While many games work flawlessly with it, it's not stable enough to be default yet for everything.

So that's why controllers in steam stopped working last week. Loading the module 'uinput' fixes it, as that is what Steam uses to create virtual controllers.

I backed this game on IGG, can't wait for the Linux version to release!
The current game (beta early access) does run in Wine, except for the Pixel Lobby which doesn't work.

There's a fork of Wine-Staging that allows you to play Overwatch on Linux, still needs work

Wasteland 2: Director's Cut. About half-way through, very fun :D
Just got the Steam controller, seems to work nicely with the game.
