Quoting: TcheyHo nice ! I will cancel my Patreon and give via Liberapay instead. You will get more even if i pay the same amount.
@Liam:
Is that correct? If so, then I would think about it, too. I want to use my money to support the website and not an intermediary that I do not need otherwise.

What else happens if I change that? Can I no longer receive the patreon news for supporters? So, for example the news about the new hardware a few days ago.
Liberapay is a reasonably good option (especially as it allows you to store money each time), however, it's 100% anonymous. Anyone using it won't see any kind of updates or behind the scenes information, because for me it just isn't possible to see any user details. It's only for people who want to regularly support us, but don't care about any special extras.
Is there no way ppl can let themselves be identified if they want to?

On a related note:
Why did we get the "Supporter Only Forum" if we still have to check Patreon for updates? Maybe I just didn't understand the forum sticky. I'm lazy but I do keep myself logged in here all the time

Some initial thoughts on the Logitech Driving Force G29 Steering Wheel
7 Feb 2018 at 8:36 pm UTC

I replaced my old g27 with the g29 and really like it. Only using it on ETS/ATS now and then though.
One thing I hated about the G29 was the "missing buttons" on the shifter so I didn't buy it. Using my old G27 shifter with a USB adapter and very happy with the setup.
It all works out of the box.

Single-player FPS 'Ravenfield' updated with custom vehicle modding support, it's hilarious

I'm actually amazed that the bots are doing so well with the unconventional vehicles.

Railway Empire released with same-day Linux support

I like the look and feel of it. It is lightweight (kinda expected that from the video and description) so it's more of a "couch thing" than anything else.
The hardest part so far has been to understand the insane signal system. Coming from OpenTTD etc. it doesn't make much sense in my head. The One-way-block thing you build for the first tutorial pretty much sums up the insanity :P

Think it'll be great for some relaxing evenings :)

The 'GPD Win 2' could be an interesting device for Linux gaming on the go

Quoting: chimpyThere's also the 10 inch Chuwi tablet. It's got similar specs as the previous GPD, but cost like 190$.

I think it also comes with Android, but not sure.
I'd wait for a sale on Teclast X3 Plus instead. I had everything working pretty good out of the box on that, though you need to config the touch screen in the usual not so user friendly way. I added another WiFi driver from AUR that worked better.
I am not saying it works as well as having a laptop but I guess it all depends on the use. It's also around 6 months ago I tried stuff out on it so I guess things have gotten better since then.

I had a Chuwi Hi10 but there was too much fiddling to get things to work on it. It was a year a go I think so don't remember much anymore (I don't have it anymore either) but the whole experience was a lot better with the X3.

Don't mean to sound like I know everything about this, I just want ppl to spend some quality time with Google to make sure they really know what works and not, especially out of the box and/or with easily available drivers.
