Quoting: EhvisFirst time I have major issues with a Feral port. So far I've made it as far as the video after the helicopter pad before it exits with error 139 (segfault). Has anybody seen driver issues?
Are you playing this on your desktop resulotion?

You know,Gtx 970's has 3.5 Gb full speed vram, maybe this is your problem.
Yes. It's the only resolution available. Even in windowed mode. Also, I think the last 0.5 GB would cause performance issues, not crashes. I'll mail Feral support.
Hi, if you haven't already, can you please send the seg fault dump to [email protected]? If you've opened a ticket you can just reply to the existing ticket with the seg fault info, otherwise get in touch with details about the problem.

Come watch me be a master assassin, my release day HITMAN livestream is now on Youtube

Just flip that around so you're the one doing the killing and it'll all be fine...

Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTUnfortunately I already got this game for free from the Humble Store in the past. I'll buy one/a bunch of them for my friends (and of course make sure it's counted as a Linux Sale).

@Feral: It's always counted as a Linux Sale if I buy it in your Store under the Linux section? Also in Steam? Does it matter on which system I do redeem the key and play the Game?
Thanks for your support. If you buy from the Feral Store it will be counted as a Linux sale. If you buy elsewhere that gets a bit more complicated, but rest assured that we have arrangements with our partners to make sure everything's counted appropriately.

I already own the game, but I will buy it a second time of course. My personnal game of the year of 2015, and favorite car game by far. Does anyone knows if my racing wheel G29 will work on linux?
Quoting: themixturemediaI am really hoping this game will support AMD RX480 I want to upgrade my video card from GTX 960 to the 480 just want to make sure the game supports it :-).
We'll have specs out on our website before release so you'll be able to find out soon. :)

Quoting: PompesdeskyThat's the game I asked Feral in the comments, they said at the time they were indeed listening to what players often request here :

I'm definetely buying this one and I have one month to find a good racing wheel. If you have some advices or experiences they're welcome :)

Thanks Feral <3
No probs! If you're planning to get a racing wheel specifically for DiRT Rally, I'd suggest waiting until we announce what wheels will be supported, but of course it's totally up to you.

Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTFinally! <3 Feral! <3

There's no Multiplayer for his one, right? You just race against the time?
There is a multiplayer Rallycross mode and it will be cross-platform with Windows. The Rally events are asynchronous, so yeah, for those ones you'll be racing against a time.

Quoting: boltronicsFeral Interactive's done well this year and I agree that much of our love for them is related to their positive interactions with the community. Having said that, I personally feel that some of their releases could use a bit more testing at times (I'm still suffering the 0byte DoW2 download bug every time I open Steam). More importantly, I'm often put off by the sheer number of titles they release that claim to only work on Nvidia, and the (usually completely pointless) warnings that have to be clicked past on many of their games when running on AMD drivers - drivers that more often than not work flawlessly. It detracts from the overall experience. Do they really have to show them every. single. time?

A stable Mesa release should appear this year with OpenGL shader caching, at which point I sincerely hope Feral switches off all such warnings and updates their game requirement pages. I'll be watching to see if this happens and factoring Feral's reaction (or lack thereof) to such releases when voting on Favourite Linux game porter of 2017.
Hello, have you got in touch with Feral Support about the download issue? If not, please email [email protected] and we'll do our best to look into it, but it may be an issue with Steam and therefore out of our control.

We've had feedback about the warnings, so based on that we've added an option to hide the warnings forever in newer versions of our game launcher. This new game launcher may make it into some of our older games.

We do update the specs for games if we've tested and confirmed that performance is up to our standards (e.g. XCOM 2 recently gained AMD support [External Link]
