My guess would be that 'Adobe Air' needed for some sort of copy protection (maybe?).

I watch this move before (from earlier humble). The only thing what I miss on movie - more indie devs stories.

From my POV best part of Terasology is that it write in Java so theoretically it would be easier porting Minecraft plugins/MODs to this game (at least it doesn't require learn new language). Also looks far better than Minetest.

Personally I do not understand why people do free games (without any monetizing strategy)? They can be open source, drm-free or whatever if they value it but good lord think how you can make money of it! Now what we have? Game started from 2005 and still not finished (like half baked cake)? Somehow I do not believe they get their funding.. Probably project will die just like Dead Cyborg [External Link].

I read bit on deeper explanation of this game. This game probably drops in category where visualization & sound experience is primary game goals (reminds a bit Proteus). Probably best played such game is on Oculus Rift.
