I'll tell you my experience. I use Manjaro Cinnamon with nvidia drivers 390.48. My PC is a Ryzen 1700, GTX1080Ti, 16 GB RAM and a PRIME X370-PRO motherboard. Yesterday I played almost two hours without any problems. If you want to see how it works, I'll leave you the Twitch link. Greetings.
