I don't want to be that person, but how many corporations have moved their ass to make their games even a little compatible with proton / wine .
It will be the same with this, none of the big ones in the game business will move ass

Pure Damage control.
The worst thing is that the damage already done, no one will take Canonical seriously after this stupidity.
Just when Linux is becoming more usable and light future , something is coming up and it sends it back to the bottom.

Quoting: ShmerlSilence means they messed up and don't want to talk about it. But it says nothing about what else they can decide.Ah irony , DRM free , but only for $S and $M

Quoting: ZeloxAnd the ironi in it aswell when unreal devs blame Windows for being a closed plattform, but dont want to work to push the Linux version. I can understand they mainly want to focus on Windows. Not very different from GoG - DRM Free ,no Linux Galaxy client ,no Witcher 3 Linux version... :) , both are property of CDPprojekt.Money is money , and many of them is in Consoles and Windows.

Yep , as i said "i told you , no Linux version " , and no Nvidia won't fix bug , they not fix for whole year... All developers have a problems on Linux , but they just bypass them.
Cossacks 3 had a huge problems , but no one complained for problems with drives or engine , just work and bypass.

First was a "translucent materials" , second Nvidia driver(o'rly , what about AMD/Mesa..) , third waiting answer from Epix. And 6 months nobody found this-"Try to use "Surface ForwardShading" under Material Properties-> Translucency -> Lighting Mode".
Ieep they working hard on Linux , believe me :).
Sorry for black view , I support this game in kickstarter , but after these silly excuses i do not believe there will be Linux version.

Quoting: EhvisWhat surprises me is that they have a Mac version available. With OpenGL being much better on Linux, it's not very likely that it is a problem with Unreal OpenGL support. Makes you wonder what exactly causes this problem.Because there is no problem , Linux version is left for far last , just find excuses.
