Was never a fan of WipeOut myself... much preferred Rollcage!
I vaguely remember there being an in development Rollcage 'clone' a while back - can't remember if it was Linux though! (Also can't remember what it was called... :S:
That being said, this does look pretty snazzy. Will give it a go later
