That game worked always for Nvidia users on Arch or any other distros. Also worked for Mesa users on Ubuntu too.
Yeah great for Nvidia.. I use AMD but thanks.

I wonder if Valve success with SteamPlay/Proton made it not worth the effort to develop a Linux release.

The Humble Store Fall Sale is live, some great Linux games going cheap

Quoting: wvstolzingI wonder how the Deus Ex Mankind Divided (DX11 mode) behaves under DXVK. The protondb page for it doesn't contain much in the way of a clue (I mean, it says 'borked', but the person could have tried to run it in DX12 mode, maybe?)
Works great... no issues.

Valve officially confirm a new version of 'Steam Play' which includes a modified version of Wine

Quoting: GuestThe one thing Lutris also does great is the ability to give you a choice of which runner to use for example when installing the old Doom and original Quake games. That is probably one of Lutris's greatest strengths, would be awesome if Steam Play did the same.
Lutris is troublesome when compared to the Steam Play alternative. Buy, download and play all in one package... that's too hard to beat. If Steam Play figured out the DRM aspect of things.. where we get 98% windows games being able to be played on day 1 release... I wouldn't expect Lutris survival. Keep in mind... Steam Play is beta and people are already wanting/expecting the world.... wait till they figure out runner solutions (which I think they probably have) and DRM.... it's only been a few days guys ;-)

Quoting: Guest"Users playing through Steam Play experiencing Linux-specific issues should be directed to Steam for support. Keep in mind users were most likely already playing your game using Wine; you just have better visibility into it now."

I pulled the quote (partially) from here:

Maybe Valve see things that suggest there are more Wine users playing games than the developers even realize?
Any problems... first question will be 'ARE YOU USING UBUNTU' lol!

Quoting: dubigrasuI just wanna know what Feral thinks about this.
Competition is good. Let Feral work on DRM-free games and support upstream FOSS projects.
Well... Feral was hit or miss... meaning if you had nvidia and Ubuntu then it was almost guaranteed... those of us that have AMD and other distros -not Debian based... can now ignore Feral and just play. Just confirmed, I can play Deus Ex Mankind Divided now ;-) Thanks Valve, wine and dxvk developers!

Hmm... Wine team bringing me closer to ditching dual boot. Concentrate on the top 10 played games that linux can't play and I am completely on board.
