Wednesday Madness, a quick look at some good Linux gaming deals
17 Mar 2017 at 11:05 am UTC
I played so far: Stellaris, Cities: Skylines, Motorsport Manager, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Master of Orion, War Thunder and Total War: WARHAMMER. From this list, only game that has some glitches on my pc is Master of Orion. Interesting part is, that main game is good, but DLC Elerian Fiefdoms main character has glitches with it's face (there is just black space instead of face). But none of them crashed so much times, like Mad Max. And those bugs are old (https://youtu.be/bXFTQBwZ80s?t=3m17s [External Link]), so I guess, they never will be fixed.

Quoting: g000hLucky you. I have 2 main bugs: 1. sometimes game crash on loading; 2. Max sometimes fall underground. But graphic looks good for that price, that's true.Quoting: DMGPlayed Mad Max for the first time, and I must say, I'm not impressed. The graphic looks good, but all bugs and glitches what game still has, makes it annoying to play. In two hours I had two big bugs, when I had to restart whole game. Thought, it is because of linux, but no, in yotube I found many videos about similar bugs and glitches.Everyone is entitled to their opinion. While I wasn't blown away with Mad Max, I did thoroughly enjoy it. I had practically zero bugs or glitches while playing, and it was playing well for me even running at 4K resolution. Metacritic [External Link] gives it a critical review score of 73% which I feel is a pretty fair result.
Also, at this price point (£3-£4) on sale, the game is an absolute bargain compared to the retail price.
Interested to know what games you have played and rate highly on Linux?

Can anyone tell me, please, if game requirements say, that it needs Ubuntu 16.04, does that means, it will work only in 16.04? Or there is chance, that it will work on Ubuntu 14.04 too? Ubuntu 16.04 do not have old drivers, but I want to try Mad Max.
