Quoting: GuestMaybe they have enough money to make a linux version that does not require pulse audio now.
...or support the Steam Controller, so we can stop relying on sc-controller to be able to play Dead Cells.

Pretty please ;)

What have you been playing recently and what do you think of it?

Quoting: skinnyrafAh, yes. After 18 years I moved from Debian to KDE Neon, Ubuntu-based. Some games require glibc newer than the current Debian stable and I'm too old to run testing.
Testing (buster) as entered the soft freeze a few days ago, and will be out in a few month.
Testing is stable enough.

This game is great and deserves a much better review rating.
If you think so too, go post a review! (If you can ; Steam refuses to save my (positive) review after 17h of play, weird.)

@Numeric, just to be sure, run a memtest to check that your RAM is 100% ok.
What you are describing reminds me of weird heisenbugs due to faulty RAM.

@alexbrrsclnt I have the exact same problem (and reported it in the forum).

In the mean time, I created a sc-controller profile in order to be able to play Dead Cells correctly.
This is the profile file : https://ufile.io/v9c9r [External Link]

I hope they fix that soon

Dead Cells, a 'RogueVania' now has a Beta available for Linux

Do you guys managed to play it with the Steam Controller?
On my end I 'randomly' display the steam virtual keyboard while playing, which unfocus the game window and inevitably kills you pretty quick :/

I'm playing on Debian Stretch.

Well, the Diablo 3 'killer' is already running wild for a few years now, and it's PoE (Path of Exile).

Unfortunately it's Windows-only and the wine version was *so* bad performance-wise it was just unplayable in hardcore mode.
Perhaps that has changed since I tried 2 years ago.

"PC".

I love Klei, but using 'PC' to say windows...

Quoting: bgh251f2I still can't will myself to play any MOBA. There's simple no easy way to start, it is too complicated for a beginner and almost every tutorial about it makes the game seem a boring mess.
Awesomenauts is a free (wasn't free to play before) MOBA that is _very_ accessible to newcomers.
It's 2D, fun, pretty easy to get into, while still hard to master, and the good thing is the matchmaking does match people with approximately the same skill level (so as a noob, you only encounter noobs).

Try it ;)
