Supraland will end Linux support very soon. At least it runs OK with Proton.

There is a bug that crashes the game on (some?) Nvidia cards and (apparently) can't be fixed:

"We've investigated your crash a bit and it looks like it is a engine related bug happening on some configurations of Linux machines.
I'm afraid we cant do terrible much about it from our end."

Workaround: Switch to Intel card (if you have one).

I'm currently checking if the bug is only in the beginning of the game, or in multiple locations.

Quoting: iplaygameswearingatuxAnyone else getting segfaults every 5 minutes?
Yes, I'm so glad it's not just me, every 5 minutes on the dot, apart from the OS I'm using (Ubuntu 16.04) my machine easily meets the minimum to run the game, I'm hoping they have a fix soon as I REALLY want to play it.
A fellow gamer on Reddit had no issues playing the game with the 390.48 driver. I've rolled back, and the segfaults were gone. The game still crashes, but not as often. I've managed to send around 30 reports to Feral today. :)
Update: With the old driver, the game freezes the system. Will have to wait for the release of Ubuntu 18.04 and/or new Nvidia drivers, I suppose.
Update2: Segfaults still there after updating to 18.04 beta. I guess I'm just unlucky.

Quoting: razing32Are these actual ports ?
Did someone do any work on these or is this just a rom + emulator ?
rom + emulator (+ 4 avatar images in Metal Slug X)

The BIOS is not compatible with newer MAMEs, but the games are OK (the Metal Slugs at least). I was looking for a way to force start MAME with the GOG BIOS, but couldn't find it yet.

Could anyone please confirm whether the games are playable in MAME?

Quoting: GuestI bought and tried playing that game but found it so boring. What am I missing here?
The beginning is extremely boring. Try to overcome the first hour or so, get used to the pace and atmosphere of the game.
