Could be nice for our young children as well (always looking for games that open mind and matches children sensibilities)? Hope they plan to add some challenges, stories with goals (like disseminating seeds to populate in trees new areas, pollinating if your are a hummingbird, predate if you are a bird of prey, sing with Fatboy Slim Bird of prey!, etc.) or collection purposes (like having played all creatures).

This game is amazing, quick to play (you begin in seconds, you die in tens minutes, you can pause and get back, nice for parental life), beautiful, nice music and sounds (the voice of the AI, the outlaws and aliens also), very tactical, crafting interesting, trade also, looting and scavenging everywhere.
I'm still dualbooting for this one and two others (witcher3, skyrim, ghost of a tale).

"inspired characters" : LOL, they will have trouble with copyright no? Actors are obvious, it will cost them an arm and a leg.

Sounds good! I will spend 15€ and see if my son likes space game.
@Stranger (Bonjour ^^) and people that played Helium Rain: Can you detail if its the kind of realistic simulation (seems to be claimed), if so is there a more arcade mode like Everspace? There are combats it seems, space station management? Craft? Spaceship custom to tune the manoeuvrability, acceleration, speed, inertia, etc.? Missions? Quests? interaction with asteroids, planets, Other civ(s) to meet, trade, discuss with, fight?
What do you plan? You will allow mods?
:-D
edit: my bad, I didnot explore the website where i got most answers ^^ I like the sheet about factory and trade [External Link]

Very nice initiative. If he goes on Witcher 3, skyrim, any unreal-engin-based games that creates trouble for dev like Everspace, he will increase its income!

Quoting: Guestuploaded a video testing it out in 1600x900 in a window because i really do not trust running wine apps full screen so if it crashes i can stop it.Thank you Vipor29. Nice video. Seems to be the shadows that fail. Can you disabled them? (I don't mind shadows :-P)
