I'm hyped for this one. I haven't bought Dawn of War yet (not really my thing, but I'll probably pick it up around Christmas), and I haven't finished Life is Strange yet. But this... this is instabuy/instaplay material. Great stuff!

Quoting: g000hIf anyone wants to risk buying it now, 2 weeks before its Linux release, I spotted a sweet deal here:Pretty sure that counts as a Windows sale. And bypasses Feral completely of course. But if supporting Linux gaming isn't a priority for you, that's a decent deal.

Anything inspired by BF1/2 is going to be worth a look in my book. Such a great game. I hope this lives up to its potential.

Great to see a title of this quality arrive on the Linux platform. Well done Feral! (again)

Quoting: liamdaweThat's a very unpopular opinion, but very much my experience. Wine gaming is a compromise and relying on it sends developers the wrong message. I don't buy Windows games any more - my last purchase was the Dishonoured expansion back in early 2013, but I've bought around 200 Linux-only games in the subsequent years.Quoting: boltronicsWhy??!?!? These games all work perfectly under Wine. Have for a very long time. It's all about building up our library without having to resort to hacks like Wine, which never truly work properly.
If they wanted to truly release Warhammer games for a new audience, they should have ported Space Marine! That's a game that does not work under Wine, probably only because of copy protection.

I paid full price for Firewatch - loved it. I loved the story, the build up, the mystery, the ending. Superb stuff. I keep meaning to play it through again, but there's not a huge amount of re-playability, so I'll leave it another few months, I think.
Creepy Castle, an exploratory, sidescrolling RPG about an awesome moth comes to Linux on October 31st

Such an epic soundtrack and cool trailer to disguise... what are those, Gameboy colour graphics? Not my scene. Maybe ten, let's call it fifteen years ago. Not today.
Quoting: GuestHorrible music…How very dare you! :) A bit of glam, operatic rock music never hurt the power-rangers...
Space Pirates and Zombies 2 still planned for Linux, not due for at least another 4 months

I've also heard very good things about Captain Forever Remix, but I've yet to bite that bullet and buy it.

Quoting: LinasThe best part of SPAZ for me was the ship building. I had certain builds for going against pirates, different ones for fighting zombies. Even though the build options were limited, they were easy and satisfying. Hope they do not mess up the system by over-improving it.If you like top-down space shooters with awesome build mechanics, you should check out Reassembly. Absolutely superb.

Here's my review and video of 'RIVE', a fast paced & beautiful action game and the last game from Two Tribes

I bought this via the collection. Because the collection is 40% off (instead of 15% off just the main game) AND I had already bought three other titles, it was cheaper to buy the collection! Looking forward to playing - it looks superb.

You know, it's a weird announcement for sure. They've got a back catalogue consisting of Toki Tori (puzzler), Rush (puzzler), Edge (puzzler), and Toki Tori 2 (puzzler).
Now I own three of those four, but must have gotten them in bundles because seriously... puzzler games aren't my thing.
Now they come away with an absolutely jaw-dropping twin-stick schmup, finally, a Two Tribes game I want to play... and it's the last thing they'll make!?

Valve have made some big changes to the Steam Reviews system

Have they done anything about EA reviews skewing overall results when the developers make crucial changes mid-EA causing reviewing bombing, when it in fact, it's a good change for the released game?
The "Recent" system works for well-established games making unpopular changes (looking at you, Payday 2), but it's no use when you have 1000 bad EA-based reviews and 10 good launch reviews. No-one is going to touch that game, basically.
