Quoting: MrowlGreat news for Steam Deck, but more importantly great news for Steam OS as a whole. I plan to make a small form factor gaming PC to use as a 4K gaming console and install Steam OS to it, instead of buying a Xbox/PS5, etc.
Agree. Just curious. What CPU and GPU are you going to use?

I've never played Nox before. It seems that to move character you point a mouse cursor. Is it playable on Steam Deck or controller this way or can you change the controls to move?

Main reason I don't use Debian a while are outdated Nvidia drivers because I need stable branch for some specific software. Could DUR be used also for installing graphic drivers?

Quoting: Luke_NukemI remember buying this on release because a linux port was promised.. that was what, 6 years ago? More?
That was Rome II that Valve was promoting as a Steam Machine launch title, not the original Rome Total War. CA did that port in house and eventually only the OSX port surfaced and it was... bad.
Yep, we got Attila and Rome II disappeared.
Attila was released for linux.

If Obsidian and inXile will drop linux support for future games and make another unpleasant changes I believe that few developers could continue working in other studio or new studio they estalish because there will be a gap in the market. BioWare could take this opportunity.

Maybe this purchase is standard Microsoft move to buy the competition and get it down or even bring it to ruin. It could speed up the decisions of developers to go away and continue making people happy by creating fantastic games. Because everything is about people not about a name of a company.

It's very easy answer. Use adamhm's wine wrappers, it works out of the box.

Quoting: PatolaIs the ledge forgiveness an option that you can turn off? I really dislike this "feature", I feel cheated when playing.
What's the ledge forgiveness feature? I can't find more info about it.
