What are you playing on Linux this weekend and what do you think about it?

The skull on my Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition icon is probably just going to keep starring at me woefully as I continue to be too busy working on the farm outside to be able to continue my campaign. Bhaal is an emotional sort.

I have only changed my primary distribution once in eleven years of using Linux full time.

Steps we're taking as a site for GDPR compliance
21 Apr 2018 at 4:38 pm UTC

Quoting: NonjuffoI don't think GDPR applies to services like Github. If it did, it would also apply to things like scientific journals, which operate on the same basic underlying principles (i.e. the content is deliberately publicized along with the (pseudo-)identity of the authors).
How about Wikis just to broaden the discussion a bit?

I am still not seeing the update at all on the 3D Realms store. Not the best way to treat the customers that have chosen to support you directly 3D Realms.

GOG is having a big sale of its most wishlisted games

Just picked up the soundtracks for the all of the Baldur's Gate games since it still counts as another Linux sale, as well as Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition. Beamdog ought to love me today. If nothing else though, I am helping to diversify the local economy. ;)

As a matter of fact there were DRM free Linux builds of Metro: Last Light Redux that were produced, but for whatever reason GOG.com did find them to be of a suitable quality to ship on their store:
We encountered a number of technical issues while preparing our DRM-free Linux and Mac OS X versions and made the call to hold back the releases until we can be confident in the quality of our product. While we are trying to fix the problems, we cannot make any promises if and when the DRM-free versions will be ready.

Quoting: slaapliedjeI think the first commercially published and released game for Linux was Civilization: Call to Power, right?
Abuse, Inner Worlds, and Hopkins FBI all beat Call to Power to Linux as far as I know.
I didn't think Abuse was commercially released, more like a game that was released after on Linux as open source. Never heard of Inner Worlds.
Abuse was published commercially for Linux by Red Hat long before its source code was released:

Hopkins FBI was also distributed on CD-ROM for Linux before Call to Power.
