The Blackwell Bundle brings all the adventures back to Linux

Quoting: CyrilPlus another older title from them, Emerald City Confidential, still Windows only.

Ah, looks like that was in their pre-publishing days; it shows in this list:

That publisher doesn't look Linux-friendly:

And ProtonDB says that game doesn't work. :(

Quoting: SwannyDoesn't help with embedded players but I use Simple YouTube Age Restriction Bypass with ViolentMonkey to avoid signing in to Youtube

Does it work with this particular video? As I recall, it just uses the embed version, which YouTube is now blocking apparently.

Edit: Ah, I see it has an option to proxy to a real/dummy user account.

Quoting: CyrilGreat! I hope they will support their other games too!

It looks like Resonance, Shardlight, and Technobabylon are the only ones missing now?

Manufacturing compatible hardware seems like opening the door to lawsuits; Nintendo in particular likes to lawyer up. I hope it doesn't go that way, but I personally wouldn't want that liability. That said, as a potential consumer, I hope it is successful!

Quoting: CatKillerI hope this won't be an issue for the Steam Deck; that they'll have rolled out their re-encoding solution by the time the Deck ships.

I haven't followed too closely; does anyone know the (technical? legal?) issues with the solution used in ProtonGE?

Quoting: denyasisI'm actually curious about the log4j. I thought that was an Apache server vulnerability. What kind of server does this run? Or am I not understanding it right?

log4j is a project under the Apache Foundation (along with many others, including OpenOffice). It's a logging tool written in Java, and used by a lot of Java apps. I assume Slay the Spire is written in Java.

Doesn't it seem like they are starting this process rather late? Especially since it was originally supposed to ship in December?

Quoting: Mountain ManIf only Valve would make something with a three.

Does SteamOS 3 count? :-p

My reservation is saying "After Q2" as well; I guess by that time there will be enough reviews to get a good idea of whether it's worth jumping in or waiting for an updated model.

I think I still have the beta and final releases of Hopkins FBI for OS/2 around somewhere. The final version had some of the "graphic violence" censored, and I do believe it had the "simple map" rather than the FPS.

In between the beta and the final version, the guy who ported it became enamored with the "drag&drop install" method used by macOS, so the other big change was he got rid of the installer. :-p

Humble Choice gets Iron Harvest and Mafia: Definitive Edition

Certainly better than the last couple of months. I was curious yesterday what was in Humble Trove these days - and discovered it's declined even more than the monthly selections. There may be a gem or two in there, but they used to have an overall better selection.

Quoting: slaapliedjeI still remember when you could put in multiple resolutions into your XFree86 config file and then change between the resolutions with some shortcut keys (like control+alt+number?).

It was Ctrl+Alt+[+|-]; pretty useful on CRT displays, but most digital flat panels don't handle anything other than native resolution all that well.
