So I can't shutdown my computer anymore, because with the next start, the Steam client will update? It is not the fact, that I don't want the new UI. It is the fact, that in the beta it broke games and I don't know, if Valve got this fixed.

Total War is still crashing after startup. I had to switch from Steam beta client to regular version to fix this :(

Fingers crossed that Total War: Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurai is working again with these fixes.

I switched from evaluating Unity to Godot. It is a shame, that such a design- and developmenttool is not able to scale its GUI correctly with the monitors resolution. On a 4k monitor it was/is a pain to use the Unity editor.
