Quoting: BielFPsit's on manjaro repositories just doQuoting: somebody1121I also had problems with Proton GE. In order to fix it i had to install steam-native, maybe it can fix your problem as well. What steam native? direct from the site? I've installed through Manjaro repositories (and Ubuntu when I was using Mint) but no luck with both.
sudo pacman -S steam-native or install it using pamacThis will make steam use system libraries instead of the steam run-time ones

If i were you a would wait to see new launches, the card can hold a little longer and also the cpu.
Nvidia also has a new architecture, that will mean that previous generations will drop in price to clear inventory, so you can pick a 5700/2070 with the money of a 5600/2060.

Quoting: keanHow is the driver support? I am planning to upgrade my CPU and GPU (1600 and 1060) to a 3600/3600x and 5600XT. I had issues in the past with my RX 480, but never with the 1060. Would you recommend switching back to AMD?I wouldn't do that, the 5600XT had a very bad launch. You don't know if you will get the card previous vBios or the new one, with higher clocks. Also have in mind that the card only has 6Gig of ram and with the new console generation the vRAM requirements are going to increase, so at least search for an 8 gig card.

Quoting: Guest"Running DX Games on Linux Over Vulkan"That's great, I expect to grow with time. Also i find interesting to see on page 4 Metro exodus using Vulkan. I hope it's for a linux port (the other two have a native one), not only for stadia...
(page 15 of https://www.khronos.org/assets/uploads/apis/Vulkan-1-2-Launch_Jan20.pdf [External Link])
If anyone doubts the importance of GNU/Linux and gaming, that they're calling out the explicit ability to run DX titles on "Linux" in Vulkan standards updates shows that the industry most definitely has an interest.
