This mean that I can play windows online games without getting ban :woot:
Maybe will see a rise in Linux usage on Steam, especially with the Chinese coffees since it will be cheaper to install Linux than buy a Windows license :)

Now if this can actually make injectors work for things like far mod for Nier...

What i don't understand is why buy github? Competitors sites provide similar if not better experience and they are cheaper. The only consequence it's going to have is getting a rapid growth in sites like gitlab.

Quoting: somebody1121Now i understand why mesa starts moving to gitlab...
I don't think it's related. Mesa was self hosted and will be self hosted, they are just going to use Gitlab instead of Gitweb + Bugzilla and etc.
Maybe you are right but the timing of their migration make me suspect, and also i won't be surprise if more big projects start moving.

Quoting: somebody1121So anyone knows if feral has commented if they are using vulkan over dx12 or dx11?
Yes, there is Vulkan-Support:
CRAFTED FOR macOS AND LINUX

Using the latest Metal and Vulkan graphics technology, the Tomb Raider series returns to macOS and Linux in spectacular form.
-> Feral-Store [External Link]
As i understand they translate the dx calls to vulkan calls instead of rewrite the entire graphics pipeline. Rise of the Tomb raider uses dx11 and dx12 as an option, so my question is if they translates dx11 to vulkan or dx12 to vulkan?

Quoting: hihuWell I followed the livestream yesterday and the game looks very promising. I also managed to "not buy" it until now and play it on windows. I bought the 2013 game years ago when I didn't know that the game will come to linux.

From reading the comments section from time to time I found out that it's the best to buy the game directly at Feral Games Store to support feral interactive.

However I have some money on my Steam Account which I could use. Does this count as linux sale then? (sorry this was discussed before for many times).

thanks for clarifying this out.
If you buy it on linux it counts as a linux sale. When you take it on steam a part of the money goes to valve, but if you made your purchase on the feral store all the money go to them.
