Many devices are already cheap. And with OpenXR we will get lots. I'll get later this year a device for X-Plane, but Alien Isolation and alike must be huge fun as well.

The Linux-powered Ataribox will be available to pre-order on December 14th

If it will be as closed source as Sony's Playstation, it would rather harm steamos/linux adoption. Playstation doesn't even support Vulkan.-

While i use wine for decades, nowadays only for Photoshop.
xplane is great and will get better with vulkan and vr support.

Rise of Tomb Raider on Vulkan would be my only instant buy.

The HTC Vive just had a price cut, VR just became a little more accessible

But there's a good chance it won't support OpenVR on Linux and you won't have to spend money.

No X-plane will support all os, no doubt. They also move to Vulkan.

The recent Linux port teaser from Feral Interactive seems to be coming to Mac first now

If marketshare doesn't rise in the next years, Linux as gaming os will probably fall into oblivion.
Like my Tax app which I had on Ubuntu. I mailed and they said not enough users to continue, use Windows.-
